4 ‘militants’ surrender in Ashulia

Four suspected militants have surrendered before the members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) during a drive of the elite force in an Ashulia residence at Savar, on the outskirts of the capital. RAB members cordoned off the area early Sunday suspecting it to be a militant den. Sounds of gunshots were also heard in regular intervals in the morning around 11:30am

The United Arab Emirates has denied it was behind the alleged hacking of Qatar's state news agency in May. The Washington Post cited US intelligence officials as saying the UAE had orchestrated the posting of incendiary quotes attributed to Qatar's emir that he insisted were fabricated. Three Israeli civilians have been stabbed to death in a settlement near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. Another Israeli was wounded in the attack in Halamish.
